祖父が理容師として使用していた昭和期の天然砥石です。
主に理容鋏（はさみ）の研ぎに用いられていたもので、精密刃物の仕上げに適しています。もちろん 包丁の仕上げ研ぎ にもお使いいただけます。
砥石の大きさ：横約17cm × 縦約6cm × 厚さ約2.5cm 重量約720g
古い品のため多少の使用感はありますが、ヒビはなく、良好な状態です。
天然砥石は一点ごとに個性があり、同じものは存在しません。特にプロが実際に使用していた実用サイズは希少です。
砥石がわかる方からは「京都系の中山ではないか」と聞きました（あくまで推測です）。

This is a vintage Japanese natural whetstone from the Showa era. According to a friend, it might have been sourced from Nakayama in Kyoto.
It was originally 新品 by my grandfather, a professional barber, mainly for sharpening barber scissors.
